Online Ukulele Tuner

Use this free online ukulele tuner to tune up your ukulele. This is for the standard GCEA ukulele tuning. For other methods on how to tune your ukulele go to our How to Tune the Ukulele page. If you want to use alternate ukulele tunings, check out our Adjustable Online Ukulele Tuner and read our article on Alternate Ukulele Tunings.

ALERT Sorry, your web browser does not support Adobe Flash or does not have it installed. Most Apple products do not support Flash. Please use our HTML5 Ukulele Tuner that will work with almost all modern browsers.

How to use this tuner: Click on the note for the string you want to tune and then turn the tuning pegs on your ukulele to match it up with the note that is being played. For best results adjust the volume on your computer until it has the same volume as your ukulele.

Will you all stop complaining! This website works for some and not for others. That is how everything works in society. This site actually helped me out so thank you so much. It was easy to use as well. Good Job! Now I can play my ukulele!

Thanks, folks, for uke tuner...I'd use my 'clip-on' tuner if I was going to Carnegie Hall. :-) I'm trying to get a vibration in my
'C' string out. Does the fact that I turned my standard uke into a baritone uke (G string is now an octave lower w/ steel string) make a difference? RSVP Thanks Russ in Homer, Alaska

works ok...

..close enough for me at home...when doing a church special, I just double check with my 'shark' tuner.

Hello there!
Easy to use, great site... Esp. is you don't play a ukelile or mandoline everyday and you forgot about the tuning. Or, perhaps you want to find out other tunings!

Problem with many of your visitors I guess: they don't know how to listen an strum their instument. They blame you (your site) while they should lay the blame by theirselves.

Anyway: keep on doing de GOOD work!!! ;))

what the **** this **** is stupid how is this supposed to help

by Kekai1 on

whoa, Nelly! These new strings I'm tuning for my daughter can't hold their tone to save they sorry selves.

Don't know why, but I thought your 2008 & HTML5 tuners did better for me than the 2005 version.

BIG RECOMMENDATION: redo your picture "uke-strings.jpg" to re-order the strings list: Place String 4 at the top of the list, just as the red string (#4) is top-most in the Uke pic. Then place strings #3, #2, #1 down in the list, so their list positions correlate directly with the blue, green, orange strings on the pictured instrument. (Hint: you should just be able to fix this with some basic cutting & pasting in MSPaint.)

I wonder if rants from the ungrateful, whiny wretches are because they miss this subtlety and they try to tune their G string to A, the C to E, the E to C, and the A to G.
Just a thought.

(Tho of course, no one anywhere will ever create anything that will satisfy all the ungrateful, whiny wretches in the world....)
